Me too! I have a half-written essay about endings/beginning and I feel like that line is what I've been trying to say and just using way too many words to do it, ha
This was so beautiful to read, I almost cried with you haha. I currently have two under two so I’m not sure I have a routine just yet but on the days I’m up early I make sure I have my coffee and read a devotional on my balcony.
Aww thanks so much for letting me know it spoke to you! Two under two is a lot to handle. Coffee and a devotional to start the day sounds lovely, Jemima.
Thank you so much, Krista! Yes, isn't it lovely? I have a few other children's books like it that I keep on my desk because they're more for my heart, ha!
What a beautiful tribute to a special time, and the wonderful times to come for you both.
I wholeheartedly endorse dinner for breakfast. My breakfast motto is “put an egg on it”…it being dinner leftovers. My daily routine is a veggie packed smoothie on my way out the door (leftovers packed for my office lunch) but when I have the time and the right leftovers, that eggy breakfast just hits the spot.
Thanks so much, Angeline! I cosign "put an egg on it" for dinner leftovers. It's sooo good. I also love that you have a green smoothie daily. That's a fun -- and delicious -- way to drink your veggies!
Thank you, Stacy! We had our eye on one we liked, but I don't think we'll go after it. We're focusing first on fixing up our own home. It's too soon to tell if we'll make it out in time for the next school year, so we're facing the sale/search with open hands and open hearts.
“To embrace an ending is a sacred choice”—love love love that line!

Aw, thanks, Megan!
I'm glad it resonated with you, Laura! Thank you for sharing.
Horray for embracing chaos!

Cheers, Erin!!! What an accomplishment!!
I LOVE Mother God! It’s stunning and I find it as important for my own heart as the kids.

Such a bittersweet milestone!! Love that you were prepared for a celebration at the end! Have you all found a new house yet??

I love that you celebrated this bittersweet milestone! Congrats Mama! 🥂 🍾
You may have seen this before, but I was reminded of this prayer for the end of nursing - https://youngclergywomen.org/a-prayer-for-the-end-of-nursing/
Thank you, Christine! Wow, that prayer is stunning -- I'm grateful to you for sharing it with me.
